Katie is a Registered Nurse with 16 years of pediatric experience and a special love for caring for children and supporting their families.

A graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, Katie’s experience includes NICU and pediatric hospital care, as well as outpatient pediatrics. She has a particular passion for newborns through the early elementary years and especially enjoys helping new parents navigate those first months with a new baby.

Katie believes pediatric care should be both reassuring and personal. Her goal is for children to feel safe and cared for while parents feel educated, supported, and confident in caring for their children. She is also passionate about supporting a child’s mental and emotional well-being as they grow.

Katie loves being part of Lighthouse Pediatrics because of the relationships the practice builds with families and its commitment to providing a more personal meaningful experience.

Originally from Breckenridge, Texas, Katie now lives in Crawford with her husband and their two boys. Outside of work, they stay busy with sports, hunting, fishing, traveling, spending time with their church family, and exploring the outdoors. When not at the clinic, she also enjoys using her creative side and works in Interior Design and Home Styling.
