Nicole Sage is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who brings extensive pediatric experience and a genuine love for caring for children and their families to Lighthouse Pediatrics.

A Waco native, Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. Her career began in the neonatal intensive care unit at Hillcrest, followed by experience in family medicine and specialty care. Since 2010, she has focused primarily on pediatrics, including the past eight years as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Nicole especially enjoys caring for infants, toddlers, and school-age children and being part of the many milestones that happen along the way. Her approach is compassionate, attentive, and empathetic, with an emphasis on helping both children and parents feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.

She believes great pediatric care begins with trust–and with taking the time to truly get to know each child and family. Whether that means answering one more question for a parent or letting a nervous little one listen through the stethoscope before the exam begins, Nicole wants families to leave feeling confident in the care their child received.

Outside the clinic, Nicole and her husband, Justin, stay busy with their three children and their many sports and activities. Their family also includes Ranger the dog–and six ducks. She loves reading, traveling, running, going to the beach, cheering on Texas Tech football, and, perhaps unexpectedly, 90s and 2000s boy bands. NSYNC and Backstreet Boys are still firmly on the playlist.
